2012…if I could do it all over again…I wouldn’t!!! Life is about living and learning and this year was no different. Of course there are something that could use a ‘do-over’ but I continue to promise myself to TRY to live a life with NO REGRETS.
Instead of posting a ‘year in review’ with some of my favorite photos (I figure you can do that anytime by perusing my website as most are my favorites) I thought “2012 REWOUND” would be more fitting.
Personally:: In June I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, although not reaching the summit, 16000 feet was a nice feat! Taking on this adventure with my wonderful, loving, patient, kind and amazing husband, along with a diverse group of people was a once in a lifetime experience that I wouldn’t change for the world. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t do it again but I wouldn’t change it for anything!!

Ohhhh the day to day of parenting…of course I love my kids and all that comes with raising them (I think)…dealing with hard issues, rejoicing in mini-successes…again I am sure a lot of days could use a ‘do-over’ but I figure when it comes to parenting, pressing on and moving forward is all I can do! Oh I could just squeeze those cheeks...LOVE LOVE LOVE these two!!!!!!!!
Professionally:: Meeting amazing people, clients, their children and many ‘extras’ at events I attended! One in particular would be a nothing short of spectacular lady from the PRO Club in Bellevue. She coordinates the My Best 10 program and facilitates the progress of some inspiring ladies. I have the pleasure of photographing the after photos when they complete the program.
I arrive at the spa and as I walk up the stairs Janet is always there to greet me with a huge smile and a hug. We can look at each other with laughter and tear filled eyes and know that there is solice in our friendship. We don’t get a lot of time to chat but somehow the minutes in between hair, makeup, and outfit changes we have a connection that I am soooo grateful for. She gets me and I her…and there is an appreciation for each other that goes deep. Sounds like a love affair…well sure… in a season of love, joy and peace…she emulates all of it!! I don't have a photo of her (I WILL be getting that in 2013)...But I do of just a few of the many ladies I have met!
Most of all spiritually…I am often in disbelief that God loves ME. The imperfections, the selfishness and the rawness of all humanity is. HE still loves me and I am sooo grateful for the grace He extends. I can’t believe He has blessed me with this life and profession.
In awwww….
Merry Christmas!
P.S.
I love that I have a husband who is my second shooter...shining star...and let's us ladies let loose and have a little fun once in a while!
