School was a commonality between them but a lineup outside a local bar brought them together. As fellow Cougs they had a lot in common as well as some mutual friends. It was quickly evident to Erik that Hallie was the one. After proposing and Hallie saying YES...the wedding planning was in full force!
Trinity Tree Farm was the perfect venue for them. They loved the cute barn and the vast property of trees. It was a hot summer day but I must say everyone was in good spirits and really excited for Hallie & Erik.
Erik & the guys arrived first. With anticipation rising, Erik was ready to see his bride. A few drinks and a game or two of shuffleboard helped him to relax and savor the air conditioning before being outside for the rest of the day in his 3 piece suit. The guys were hilarious to be around as we did their groomsmen photos prior to Hallie getting in her dress.
Speaking of her dress...WOW... it was simple yet elegantly sexy on her. The low back combined with her jewelry and Louboutin shoes...ahhh I die!! She borrowed some of her jewelry from Menashe & Sons and the beautiful pieces glistened as the sun bounced off the diamonds.
Hallie added a pendant to the necklace that draped down her tanned back. Stunning!! With every mention from her sisters and bridesmaids of how beautiful she was, Hallie glowed even more.
They agreed on a first look which is the best way to take in a venue with so much area around it and make use of the time prior to the ceremony for portraits. Erik was absolutely enamored by Hallie. She was beaming and incredibly happy. I could hear her complimenting him and he quickly deflected the attention back to her, soaking in her beauty.
Her eyes....her smile...her dress....HER!!
Hallie amazed me in her stilettos, effortlessly floating across the rocky terrain of the tree farm. Shortly after the bridal party joined us for more photos and gosh this group was so fun. They were full of laughter and the ladies were GORGEOUS! Hallie & her sisters even joked about being their own version of the Kardashian sisters.
Guests slowly started to filter in and the ceremony processional was about to start. They opted for a short and sweet ceremony pledging forever to each other. Even though their fingers were slightly swollen due to the heat they managed to get the rings on and say their 'I DO's'. Knowing they are each others 'person' they made it official and kissed!! They were pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Figler and now the party could really start!
With the sun grazing the top of the trees we took the opportunity to do a few more photos! The sunbeams were singing to me so of course I couldn't resist some beautiful flare!
