They met through friends and at the time Matthew happened to ‘like’ someone else. As his best man, Kristopher, put it…’it didn’t take long for Matthew to notice Hannah and her sparkle’. Her laugh is captivating, her persona absolutely endearing. It was two years ago they started dating and that was it…Matthew knew she was the one.
Matthew is on the quieter side, while Hannah laughs, engages and makes sure everyone feels comfortable. They may seems like opposites but together they provide balance to each other. These two could hardly wait to get married!
They decided to have their wedding at Stanwood Community Church with the reception at the Marysville Opera House. It was there they started their day and had their first look.
As Matthew rounded the corner his big blue eyes lit up seeing Hannah in her elegant white fitted gown. Hannah’s smile was more than ear to ear and I am not sure I have seen a couple hug so tight at the first look! They may be young but they are passionate and love being together!
The young bridal party was game to head down the street to an area under the freeway. Concrete and pillars made for the perfect backdrop for some of their photos! We managed to get Hannah up on one of the cement blocks and wow…she rocked it. She struck a pose and that dress shaped Hannah’s figure to a T! The bridal party laughed and you can tell they are young and fun...uninhibited and know how to turn on the fun in front of the camera.
Hannah made the center piece flowers and bridal party bouquets from piano sheet music. They were all unique and creative in their own way! They kept things simple and just as they are. The most important thing to them was simply…getting married!
The ceremony was officiated by a good friend, mentor and counselor of theirs. He provided some insight as to the future of what is to come when marrying young. But the thing I love the most is these two sharing their passion and zeal for life and love that is vivacious and organic. It’s really refreshing!
They said ‘I DO’ and had the longest kiss….I mean I didn’t know if they were ever going to come up for air!! Finally… they did and ran out of the church absolutely beaming! The reception started with the cake cutting followed by many special toasts. These two are loved and adored. The words that poured out of people as they spoke both about and to Hannah and Matthew were genuine. You can tell Hannah and Matthew inspire, encourage and know how to be good friends! They also love God and want to honor and serve Him!
They ended the night with some dancing and running out through a sea of bubbles! These two couldn’t be happier and with the love and support they have I know they will be great!
