Jordan + Tyler:: Woodland Meadows

It was finally 0 days of counting down to their big day. Both Jordan and Tyler were equally as excited for this day to arrive.

The morning was spent with primping and pampering and the guys well, they did a bit of their own along with beer drinking and chasing/ rounding up chickens around the grounds. It made for some additional excitement and certainly kept them on their toes.

As Jordan’s mom put the finishing touches on Jordan, she sat and took a moment to read a letter from Tyler. There is nothing better than that moment of solitude (well with everyone watching) wondering what lovely words he had written to her. Jordan had sent a little card and gift over to both Tyler and her dad expressing her sweet sentiments to them both!

We headed into Snohomish for their first look. We made our first stop to do a first look with her dad. It was so amazing to watch the love that he had for his daughter and it was obvious that the love was reciprocated.

Next stop: Tyler! I love it when they want to see each other prior to the ceremony and take the time to breathe and relax during their pics! We started at an area they have loved since they first were dating. A special distressed white door at one of the oldest antique stores on First Street! I love that they have photos there from the past 6 years together.

Tyler surprised Jordan with an additional wedding band to add to her set…her reaction said it all…I mean did he really think she would turn away more diamonds?? NOPE!

We ventured back to the venue stopping randomly to utilize some of the Snohomish fields and beautiful sunshine that we were so blessed to have. We made it back in time to have the bridal party graciously walk through the flower field…filled with thistles and weeds they were troopers and I think I complained more than they did!

After capturing some special family photos including a few sets of grandparents we tucked Jordan away. Jordan almost lost one of her grandpas to a stroke recently so these photos are of great importance to them!

Now, time for the ceremony! The ceremony took place at a beautiful venue: Woodland Meadows. The decorating was done by Kittysloane…a company owned by 2 amazing gals that sure know how to make décor come together and fit the venue perfectly. A lot of family and friends pitched in to make sure everything was just as Jordan had envisioned.

The ceremony was sentimental and performed by a special family friend. Jordan & Tyler paid tribute to Tyler’s late brother by having a special sign on one of the chairs for him. Chase was definitely missed!!

The Unity candle was of much significance as it was Jordan’s parents from 25 years ago.

Stumbling a bit over the word ‘lawfully’ Tyler burst out in the biggest laugh during his vows. They both smiled at each other and continued on and after a year and a half long engagement…finally said ‘I DO’!

As everyone exited the ceremony area both the dad’s hugged and had tear filled eyes. The two families are exceptionally close as they have vacationed and spent holidays together…they are definitely more than just in-laws.
Toasts were made and dancing began.

One of Jordan’s childhood friends, Kendra, happened to be married on the same day last year…and yep I had the privilege of photographing her wedding too!! They honored Kendra and Daniel by giving them their own song to dance too. Jordan and Kendra have so many memories together including camping and fishing with their dads! Of course they couldn’t help but get a photo of the 4 of them…and what better memory than of them laughing!

The danced the night away and took off the next day to the Bahamas. I hope you have had a fabulous time relaxing and can enjoy reliving your big day!
