Almost two years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Swanson.  A fellow mom and business owner  of an event planning company called EVENTful Moments.  We immediately hit it off and little does she realize we have been best friends ever since.  Well maybe not BFF’s but friends that absolutely love working together when we get the opportunity.

It was from Sarah that I learned more about the Snohomish Wedding Guild and signed up to be a vendor for the Snohomish Wedding Tour.  Since then we have been on the board together and are excited once again to be at the venue, Hidden Meadows, with a bunch of other wedding vendors!

The Snohomish Wedding Tour is a special event designed to give couples, their families, and friends an opportunity to view venues within Snohomish and meet with other industry professionals.

This years tour has 19 venues and the first 50 brides to arrive at registration the morning of June 1^st receive a swag bag.  Registration is at the Snohomish Center 506 4th Street, Snohomish, WA.

I have to admit I certainly struggled with coming up with an idea of what to donate.  I wanted something fun, somewhat useful, memorable and this year colorful!  I have a friend, Amanda,  who is a Mary Kay consultant and she was over one day treating me to a mini facial when I saw these eye shadows.  On the front there was a logo similar to mine.  They came in a bunch of fun colors for Spring and it got me thinking….what if that was my swag bag item…with the tag line ‘EYE DO’…and BAM we made it happen.

Jess Caskey of Caskey Design, my go to girl, BFF and graphic designer, came up with the card covered in funky neon colors to attach to the little burlap bag that I put the eye shadow in. 

I feel so fortunate to have these other moms in my life.  To have friends that understand the nature of juggling life while trying to find balance within self employment.  We certainly support and encourage each other and the best part…we have fun while we do what we love!
