I find a lot of people inquire about photosessions then shy away from them due to a number of reasons...it's doesn't fit in my schedule,  it's not in my budget, it's gonna rain, I need to lose weight...

I understand the hestitation about being in front of the camera...and the work that goes into preparing for your own session, even if it's 'only' mental preparation, it can still feel daunting.  That being said Nike is onto something...their motto of 'Just Do It' is powerful and something that I myself repeat over and over (mostly silently) but nonetheless repeating.  Obviously this can apply in many facets of life.  Still feeling relatively new to the photography industry, putting myself out there and taking risks is something I want to keep doing...including being in front of the camera myself!!  It's a constant reminder of how my clients feel and how one of my main goals is to have their session be fun and comfortable!

In the words of Jasmine Star..."I don't need to showcase, I don't need to prove, I just need to BE"!!  It was like she was in my brain...that is how I feel...I just want to do what I do and just BE...with that I want others to "BE"...BE ok with being them and together we document life...your life...because life goes by fast and no matter how we may feel right at this moment we don't get to relive today...

All of that to say, my friend stepped out of her comfort zone, to try something that she wanted to be proud of but was hesitant...I stepped out of mine, never having shot 'Boudoir' officially...together some beautiful imagery was made...now most of it is for her husband and of course this may be a 'typical' shot you have seen before...regardless we know the hard work and emotion that is behind this photo and the main thing...there is a story and it's hers!
