]]>Aren't these 3 of the cutest girls you have ever seen? We had so much fun! It was a perfect sunny day so my friend Teri and her girls hauled a trunk out near an old she dand setup 'shop'...these girls wasted no time playing dress up, climbing in and out of this vintage trunk. They were all adorable and definitely had some angelic moments! There is nothing better than capturing sisters enjoying some playtime! Ahh sisterly love... 08.24.10

]]>These two are best of friends and both seniors at Kings ready to graduate in 2016. Dena & Eliza are so much fun...we roamed around and laughed and obviously took some photos... they are such vibrant young women! They are looking fwd to a Hawaii trip together in the Spring and will be ready for a vacay after all this work for senior year! Much love you two! 11.11.15

]]>These two are more than high school sweethearts...they are best friends and wanting to take this journey of life together. Enduring the rain they ventured out and had great attitudes about being themselves in front of the camera. Their cute little dog Sammy joined us part way through and although he was chilly he posed like a champ! AND that ring...Ryan wow...it's so unique and it fits perfectly on Hannah's finger! You two are a joy to be around. They are tying the knot 09.24.16 and click here for their full gallery.
Your smiles are contageous and I love how you light up when Ryan looks at you Hannah!! 11.07.15

]]>They haven't had family photos for years so Kim & Jason gave me the opportunity to introduce the boys to 'portrait' photography...and I use that term lightly. It was pouring out so we did find a covered industrial area and the boys loved it. Keeping Cash out of the puddles was the biggest challenge other than that, everyone had amazing attitudes and even some fun. Kim & Jason wanted to have a good experience and some fresh pics of their family and kids as it has been so long since they had professional photos. I say portrait photography as a light term as I love the candid photos but always try to mix in some posed, real smile pics...I just aim to make sure everyone is breathing and not stiff! Having known Kim & Jason from church years ago it made it easy to re-connect and get everyone moving and laughing! So wonderful to see you all! 11.14.15

]]>These 3 are so lovely... They have such tenderness and sweet love between them. The girls kept saying how their mom looked more like their sister...who doesn't want to hear that!? Their 6 mos. old puppy Brady joined in and the girls adore him! These sweet girls know how to melt their mamas heart! We ended up joining Nicoles parents at Volunteer Park in Seattle and caught some more incredible fall weather. These girls love their grandparents and those smiles win everytime with grandpa! It was very special to be able to photograph them all together and see the bond they all have. 11.21.15

]]>Funny, sarcastic, thoughtful and Canadian...that would be this family. The Dawoud's are some of my first clients and shhhhh some of my favorite. Don't tell Christina cause then she will definitely want additional preferential treatment. I actually think I am the one that gets spoiled. Adorable boys...a couple that is cute, real, and makes me laugh...AND she brings me cake...ummmmm I WIN! I love seeing them every year and honestly wish I could just hang out at her office, Bellevue LASIK & Cornea, although not sure she wants to 'SEE' me everyday! Happy Holidays Dawouds! 11.15.15

]]>The cutest smile...the biggest brown eyes...and I am not talking about Chris...I am talking about Amy...well maybe more about Eden!! The past 9 months have flown by, Amy is back to work and they are savoring every stage with this cutie. It was a brisk day but she was a champ and endured the cold and was enthused with chompin' on my blocks. Amy and Chris you have settled quite nicely into parenthood. It melts my heart to see the transformation in people...having known Amy in a work environment years ago and now having a different personal relationship with her...as a mom, a confidant...she inspires me. Much love to you all!!! 11.21.15

]]>It was frosty but this family and all their smiles warmed up this session!! The three little cousins Eliza, Imani & Adia kept us on our toes as we sang, and danced trying to keep their attention...I say 'WE' but I really mean everyone else!
Sherry & Tim have been dear to my heart long before I started photography. So to have now met both of their extended families is quite the privilege. Thank you for sharing your famlies with me. Everyone was in good spirits and had great attitudes right up to the very end where the candid pic tells it all....Much much much love 11.25.15

And that's what her family sessions are like. Jay and Sarah are comfortable and casual and know how to let their family 'be' who they are...the twins are lively and love to giggle and Tristen is 13 and willing to laugh at my not so funny jokes and cuddle with his mom as long as its only for 2.3 seconds! Jay wanted the 'wrapped up in a blanket' look for their last shot so how could I resist! You are welcome Jay ;) LOVE YOU ALL 11.28.15

Madison is hoping to figure out where she wants to go to nursing school by Spring time but either way she is driven and has hopes of becoming a nurse! ]]>his family braved an early, frosty morning session. How do you pass up frost drenched trees with mystical fog...not to mention a cute family that is dear to my heart. Alex is the family pastor at our church Gold Creek Community Church and Alayne is quite talented at making jewelry with her own small business Bytwilight Jewelry. Together they and their littles Tia & Dylan (who are not so little) are energetic and quite entertaining! We love you tons and tons Johnson family!

]]>Relaxed, calm and rather quiet, Jake met me in Mukilteo to take in some of the sights and get his senior pictures taken. It was fun to see how much he relaxed from start to finish. Having photographed some of his friends from Kings High School, it gave us a few things to chat about. I loved being able to actually see him laugh by the end. He is ready to graduate and see what the world holds in store for him. Unsure exactly what he wants to do he is confident secondary education will definitely help him figure that out. All the best! 12.04.15

]]>I loved being able to see this family again. We first met at church years ago and as life goes...now they are a family of 4. I thought my girls were opposites...now Ellie & Naomi are opposite. Each with equally as beautiful big eyes...and those lashes. We did a few outdoor pics in the cold wind and rain then moved indoors. They both were much happier (until Bob crashed the cake smash and distracted Naomi)....Happy Holidays to the Kohrs family...what a fun session!
And thanks to Simply Sweet Cupcakes for the mini cake!

]]>We like to celebrate friendship every year around this time...well ok we take pics and celebrate more than just once a year but anyway I love that Jess & I do these. We made the most of a quick shoot, and although it was inside and not the best light what do you do while you have a baby napping and 20 minutes to play around.?? Shoot, jump and smile...LOVE YOU MY FRIEND!!!!! xo

They aren't all together very often but all know how to entertain each other...mix in their littlest love, Maybel, a pup they all adore...and there you have this cute family! ]]>Callie Elizabeth arrived 12.17.15 weighing 7 lbs 10 oz. She is truly a Christmas miracle as her umbilical cord was tied in a perfect knot...the scheduled c-section literally saved her life. She was an angel at her session yesterday..blowing bubbles, little smirks and sleeping the entire time (like serious that never happens). I also have to say I have never had a family photo where both the baby and the toddler were sleeping...it was a 'SILENT NIGHT' for Brian & Kristen...well a silent moment.
I think Callie even played Baby Jesus at our church Gold Creek Community Church Christmas experience last night! Congratulations...you are a beautiful family.
Thanks to Susan Sibley for the wraps and bonnet and Goodnightmoon Props for the some of the headbands. 12.23.15

]]>A grandfather and all of his pride & joy....nothing makes for lovlier photos than this! Heather & Luk live in the cul de sac up the street and so when they asked if I'd be home the day after Christmas to celebrate Heather's dad and to include her brother and his family....I said YES...not to mention the commute fit my schedule. They were such a fun and funny bunch full of laughter and enduring my terrible jokes and awkward places to stand (and sit..right CC!?) Scott decided to bring along his selfie stick just in case my photos didn't turn out.... wink emoticon YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, these are just a few to hold you over!! 12.26.15
