That dress. That girl. Those eyes. Lorraine was truly a modern day princess. I think she was even shocked when she looked in the mirror. And any photos I showed her on my camera her reaction was priceless "Really that's me?".
Joah and Lorraine opted for a first look and Joah could barely contain his grin. Absolutely beaming when he turned around immediately they hugged and were in awe of each other. They are quite natural together. Affectionate and gracious Joah would lead and care for Lorraine as they walked down the street.
Their wedding was at Sanctuary at Admiral in West Seattle and it was the perfect fall day. Considering it poured the day before everyone was thrilled to be able to do photos outside.
The park across the street was perfect for photos...as are the different areas around the venue. The blanket of beautifully diffused sunlight combined with the ombre orange to yellow leaves made for a romantic backdrop...not to mention I could have photographed their gorgeousness all day!
As Lorraine and Joah's closest friends and family arrived, Lorraine's dad walked her down the aisle. I love how they were talking and laughing as he escorted her to Joah. Both Lorraine and Joah wrote their own vows and Joah's were refreshingly real and honest. They definitely had the crowd smiling. They said 'I DO' and enjoyed the outdoor cocktail hour on the patio of the venue. With a signature drink for both the bride and the groom the guests definitely enjoyed themselves.
The creative team at EVENTful Moments is just that...creative. They flipped the room super fast and it was simply elegant. The reception began and the room was filled with laughter followed by genuine and loving words from the best man, maid of honor and father of the bride. They toasted with champagne and headed to their first dance on the stage. Later dancing commenced downstairs in a separate room called the 'Speakeasy'. It was an awesome club vibe for the night to continue with the guests (including the bride and groom) bustin' a move.
Lorraine's dress was perfect for twirling and absolutely lit up the dance floor. She changed mid-way through the dancing to a cute little white sequin dress. It fit her like a glove and she could now breathe!
Their day ended with a sparkler send off... and the two headed off to Disneyland to enjoy a bit more of their fairytale before settling into real life.
Congratulations and much love!
